I was in the doctor’s office – as a patient this time – while a mum and her two daughters texted each other. The mum’s ringtone was a quaking duck, and she would sometimes look up from her phone to remind one of hem that they hadn’t answered her last text. Drove everybody in the waiting room nuts.
The receptionist finally reminded them that there were signs telling them not to use their cell phones. Mum got rather shirty about it.
