When I was a kid in the 60s, Sunday mornings local TV showed “Let’s Go Bowling.” We used to call it “Let’s Go Boring.” Do they still have things like that?
Yes, the bowling shows were boring, the announcer would use the same hushed tones that golf announcers use (another boring sport on television). At least the pins didn’t get physical with Buni-they spared him by not striking him physically and leaving him in the gutter. (I know, very weak pun, but I haven’t had my coffee yet).

This is why I always throw the ball in the gutter.

I’m old enough to actually remember watching “Bowling for Dollars”, it had to be a pretty slow day for me to spend time on it though.

I’ll watch golf, but I can’t imagine anyone wanting to watch bowling on TV.
