I’m with you, Buni. I start getting depressed right after the Summer Solstice, because I know the days are getting shorter. Not that there’s much winter where I live, but having it get dark a t 4:00 in the afternoon is a bit hard to take, compared to summertime twilight that lasts until 11:00.
I love September weather, and even October. The last decade or so it seems that the seasons have shifted here – everything starts later, so it was still cool in June and it has been hot through September (right now it’s 25 degrees celsius), I can’t enjoy fall, though, because everything is dying and it’s getting colder and colder. The only things that keep me sane are deer season, thanksgiving, and Christmas

I love Autumn. But then where I live we have temperatures above 40ºC in summer, for weeks on end.
