Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for September 25, 1987
Transcript:
Calvin: I'm back, Mom. I changed my mind about seceding. I want to be your kid again, Ok? Mom: You'll always be my kid. I'm glad you're back. Calvin: Well, Hobbes was being a moron, so I decided I didn't want to live in the Yukon with him. Mom: So where is Hobbes now? Calvin: Isn't he back yet? Mom: How could Hobbes get back by himself? Calvin: You're right. That dumb tigeer couldn't find his way out of an empty room.
Unfortunately, Hobbes “malfunctions” when Calvin isn’t around.
