Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for December 30, 1992
Transcript:
Calvin: Do you need nails pounded into anything? You name the surface and I'll fill it full of nails! Mom: Um, no... Calvin: You sure? I've got the tools right here! Lots of nail sizes! I'd be happy to do it! Mom: No thanks, not today. Calvin: Ok, well, let me know if you change your mind. Mom: Mm-hmm. Calvin: Mom wanted a girl. I just know it. Hobbes: Did she need anything sawed?
Even if it was a girl, this strip will just be titled Calvine and Hope and filled with boy demeaning agendas, similar struggles with Santa and Dad still wanting that dog.
