Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I would give my kid a big hug too, and then pry myself out of bed to see what happened to the kitchen. Itâs so sweet when they try to take care of things. :-)
When my siblings were a little younger than Calvin they made breakfast for my mom too . . . by cracking eggs over the brand new set of Encyclopedias. Real life and imaginary play werenât two distinct things at that point yet.
@Number Six,ââŠdoes that make Calvinâs breakfast a healthy âserialâ?It goes against the âgrainâ to think so! Calvin would have done better to serve Cheerios, (but not hot oatmeal). Mom would more likely have been âfeeling her oatsâ afterward.
Usually âitâs the thought that countsâ, but what if the house had burned down. Even a six-year-old needs to use some common sense. Oh, weâre talking about Calvin, arenât we? Heâs an exception to the rule!

What could he possibly have done with toast and orange juice that could be worse than what he did with the eggs?

Clearly he set the orange juice on fire and burned up half the kitchen and he spilled the toast into the radiator.

If the decals in the back of ford truck windows offer any insight at all, I think I know the backstory of the orange juice.

@farmmat maybe he spilled orange juice over the toaster, coused a fire, and burned entire kitchen to the ground :D
coffeeturtle over 13 years ago
Not bad for a 6 year old. The house is still standing. (Thanks Dad for helping your kid out).

Dad was probably supervising in the background. As for the eggs, has it ever been said that he could cook?
