When I was Calvin’s age I didn’t know what an “omen” was.

Nothing? Really? How about the fulfillment of the portent? Might that not be worse?

Is there one for Hobbes too?

I wait for a Hobbes cloud. Hobbes can be built especially good with clouds!

The omens say that the evil parent is serving liver and onions and lima beans for dinner.

If Obama had a cloud that’s what it would look like.

My famly owns all but 1 of the comic books. Calvin is awesome!!

There is a tree in a cemetery in Quincy, Illinois that has a series of knots on it. Some people look at it and see no shape.However, if they have seen the statue of Jesus holding a lamb in another cemetery, the resemblance becomes clear.It has been called the Jesus Tree.(There is another tree a couple hundred feet south with knots that some people have perceived as – well, lets just say not so saintly a figure! )

Not a omen,maybe a reflection?

The cloud is ‘under a cloud of suspicion’.What could the mean cloud mean?

Calvin is clouding the issue! It should be ‘clear’ to Calvin that he is doomed!

Daily temps for 8 out of the last 10 days were over 100° (it was 106° this past Saturday!). Any and all clouds (inscrutable or not!) that can help cool things down a little bit are most welcome! And if they just happen to deliver a few “raspberries” along with some much-needed rain??? Well, then, who cares?!?! I’ll still take it!!!!! ;-)

Trying to “scrute” those omens is hard, man. I mean, sometimes you just have to guess….

Calvin we had clouds yesterday, we were hoping for rain to cool temps down. I think cloud did that to us. There was low rumbling and no more.

Maybe it will turn into a rubber ducky, like from an older strip.

Nothing like seeing your own decapitated head in the sky.
