Physics and biology don’t sound like liberal arts to me. But Holmes’ artistic expression when Calvin comes home from school is pretty good.

I guess we finally found something these liberal arts majors can do… be a tiger

He majored in Instinct and Survival of the Fittest.

Philosophy is easy when you already know what you are. Tigers are killing machines. Who like smooches.

Thus indirectly (and subtly) proving that public schooling does not always offer the best alternatives.

Artistic expression of running down prey and eating it? Will have to work on that while shopping for dinner.

None of that PC stuff about killing things with this tiger, no sir…on the other hand, there’s that whole “natural” thing to contend with…

I wonder where Hobbes went to college for such a well-rounded, Liberal Arts education? LSU perhaps??? ;-)

(P.S.: For those of you who don’t know, LSU is Louisiana State University, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (in the U.S.). While they’re more famously known as the “Fighting Tigers”, they’re also called the “Bayou Bengals” as well.)
