Did Calvin stay an only child?

For me, Panel #3 is most touching; a portrait of motherhood at it’s finest.

so I guess the moral of the story is that you don’t realise what you have until it gets taken away from you

In answer to your question yesterday: has the political rhetoric finally eased, or even dissipated entirely, by now? If so, I didn’t know because I never went back to reading the comments after I quit in frustration last year. I read the actual C&H comic itself every day but that’s it . . . with the exception of scrolling down the list and looking for your happy, smiling avatar, of course [which, b/t/w, I’ve been sorely missing since your latest sabbatical began]!!!!! When I see “you”, then I read all your posted comments and delightful Peanuts comic strips.

 

If all the political claptrap nonsense is done and over with now, then I may decide to come back and start reading [and occasionally commenting] here again. I’m not sure yet. With my luck, I’d come back and it would, for some inexplicable reason, start up all over again!!! ;-)

 

Meanwhile, the only reason I posted a response to something someone else said was because it was at the very bottom of the list [after I got done scrolling, looking for everything written by you] and I just happened to notice it in particular because the same thing happened to me 20 years ago. So while I was at it . . . I thought I’d say “Hi” to you, too!!!!! ;-)
