“Dandelion Head”…. LOL! :)

So “Dandelion Head” is doing Great Things, Big Important Secret Things that he will not/can not explain. Hmm… When was this strip drawn?

I think I have just now come to understand Calvin’s objection to Susie’s presence: he prefers to interact with Hobbes because he has more control over their interaction. Susie is just too independent.

Being bored is important?

Well, you asked for it Susie.

Did Calvin change his name to The Donald when he grew up? This is YUGE, BIG and IMPORTANT as well as GREAT! Sound familar?

That Susie has quite a mouth on her. Dandelion head? Pretty rough language for a little girl.

Well, you can see trucks in the first panel. Calvin could just say they were playing with trucks.

“Dandelion head”— love it! Only as an adult did I realize the “cool” kids at school did the same thing to me.

Here’s a fun thing to notice about Mr. Watterson’s art – the way he depicts a kid being pushed. Compare yesterday’s Calvin being pushed out the door with today’s Susie being pushed down the incline. Feet forward, hands up at the sides and tongue sticking out of the mouth.

Cute insult.

Calvin has a photographic memory which was never developed…

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, e.g the turtle.

I can guarantee that at least one person that crosses my path today will get called “dandelion head”.

Can’t take it when he has nothing to show off. By the way, am I the only one who finds hilarious the way Calvin sticks out his tongue at the third panel? That’s just so funny to me.

Indeed … Dandelion Head is a keeper.

Love the facial expressions in that third panel, too.
