All of that, will be paid anyway even if one chooses not to have children. Doing the math……$233k for 18 years is almost $13k per year or over $1k per month. It just doesn’t pass the “smell test”!
Thank you for having a comic strip in which you have a smart kid with smart parents. I still remember the numerous comics and TV sitcoms which had smart kids with totally dense and stupid parents. I never felt entertained by them.
