Bikes: Innocent Transport, or Homicidal Maniacs?

This could make a good “Goosebumps” episode. Still pretty early for Halloween but still…

That is quite some tale that Calvin is pedalling.

And all this time I was blaming the bike RIDER out on the trail. Sheesh!

ROFL! This is hilarious!

I sure would like to see what is really happening in this comic.

Friend went out for a ride wearing, for first time ever, biking shoes that lock onto the pedal. Came to an intersection where she had to stop. Forgot that her feet were locked to the pedal, and that she had to twist her foot to get it free. At a dead stop, she fell onto her side, still on the bike, feet still locked to the pedals. Took three people to get her up and free from the bike. She looked like Calvin in the last panel. Score: Bike 1, Friend 0

This may be a good thing. Calvin is enough of a pill without the added mobility and range of wheels.

Okay, I think Calvin needs to go straight to learning how to drive the car or he is going to be a public transportation passenger the rest of his life.

Maybe the problem is that bike is way too tall for him.

Bicycles…an insidious device designed to cull the herd.

I checked the manual: “Never attempt to oil while the bicycle is in motion.”

I absolutely cannot stand parents like Calvin’s….especially his father – how about helping the kid?

Never my face. However, I did ruin several pants legs and shoe strings!

How come his parents aren’t helping, watching him ride his bike. Of course, Calvin would still see it differently.

Not mechanically inclined at all?

Calvin maybe offer the bike a tuna sandwich?

Looks like mom has the Mercurochrome out – that will feel nice and painful as your skin turns an interesting shade of orange….

Calvin doesn’t just need a helmet, he needs hockey equipment.

It’s a vicious cycle.

One of the best story arcs! Poor bicycle…!

That’s how it felt when I was trying to learn how to knit. I didn’t win.
