Definitely enjoying my retirement… sleep in everyday

For my elementary grades, I went to a little parochial school. It had one school bus. I sort of wondered how the driver mapped out the route to pick all of we rural students up.

Now that I’m retired I’ve become an early riser. Most days I get up at the crack of noon. But occasionally…

My thoughts exactly.

I feel Calvin on this one! Where else do you want to be? Anywhere but here!

Between Calvin and Garfield I’m sensing a trend, at least Hobbes is not rubbing it in, now if the roles were reversed….

Especially when it is still dark.

Actually, for the next couple of days, that’s not a bad idea…..

I’d love to hibernate for the rest of this year!

Sleep through my favorite time of the year? Never!

I have come to appreciate getting up (relatively) early, getting a cup of cocoa or tea, appreciating the quiet and the beauty for 15 minutes or so, then rinse out the cup and tuck back into bed for a nap. :-)

It’s on my Bucket List.
