I never knew you had to “scrub” your food containers!!

Must be part of the general panic COVID had caused.

Well, in this case, I would eat it all by the weekend. (Frankly, I would have eaten it all anyway, but now I have an excuse.)

Now that’s taking the fear a bit too far.

Ah, yes, back at the beginning when they were telling us to wipe everything off because they weren’t sure how long the virus stayed on surfaces. I stopped doing that after a few weeks.

I’d just throw it all out if it’s been in there for two years, especially the mayo and the yogurt.

Fortunately there are no "Expiration"dates on food.

Expiration dates are for the weak!

If it’s not moldy and doesn’t smell bad . . . .

We sprayed everything for awhile…our Vet had an outbreak and had to close for a couple of weeks, so we sprayed the meds we brought home for one of the cats. Unfortunately it made the ink run, so we couldn’t tell which meds were which and what any of the instructions were. Luckily the Vet straightened it out over the phone.

Better safe than sorry, I suppose, though Cathy takes things to an extreme here as usual …

That’s how I can tell if it’s been in the cabinet too long – if it was made before expiration dates were added!
