Cathy: Attention Body: I have just swallowed a piece of chocolate. It was not an indiscretion! It was an allowable moderate snack on my healthy food plan for life! There is no cause for panic! Put down the fat-producing equipment, do you hear me?? Do not activate the cellulite machine! I merely ate one chocolate! The goal of a healthy food plan is not to ban chocolate...It's to change our relationship with chocolate so we can eat one piece without eating the box!! Get away from the auto-guilt button! Relax, I tell you! Ignore the chocolate! It's nothing! Do nothing! Do nothing! Say what they will about staying active...the real work is in trying to remain calm.... Sign on candy box: To me, because I'm worth it...and also because I've learned to live a life of sensible moderation where I can enjoy the occasional treat as a happy healthy normal part of life.
