Cathy (thnking): 9:45 AM: Convinced myself I can't add a column of numbers without a giant blueberry muffin. 1:00 PM: Convinced myself I can't write a business letter without a cookie. 3:30 PM: Convinced myself I can't read a fax without a piece of chocolate. Why can't I convince myself I can't do anything without a one-mile walk? ...Why can't I talk myself into a vegetative state if I haven't had my sit-ups?? My 1998 goal: To develop a healthier defeatist attitude.
