Cathy Classics by Cathy Guisewite for June 22, 2009
Transcript:
When parents move in with adult children the expected little tensions...the generational differences...all insignificant compared to the profound daily impact these wise and devoted elders can now have on the little ones: Irving: MOTHER!! Mrs. Hillman: SHHH!! Grandpa and I almost have them to sleep!!
It would be nice if everyone would lighten up. I would swear a month ago people were complaining that they were tired of reading the same old Cathy jokes. But now that Guisewite has changed the plot a bit (at the request of many of you), lots of people are still complaining. It’s a comic, it is supposed to bring laughter and fun, and many of us still like to read it and can identify with it. If you don’t like it, why are you reading it?
