Irving: I used to wear a "36", and now a "34" is baggy! HAH! What do you call that?! Cathy: "Psychotactic". Irving: What? Cathy: A tactic used to psych shoppers into thinking they're thinner than they are. They put smaller sizes on bigger clothes to make you feel better about buying them. Irving: You mean when the tag says you're a size smaller, you could have GAINED weight?! Cathy: No! I mean YOU could have gained weight! When the tag says I'm a size smaller, I'm a size smaller!
Has this happened to shoe sizes as well?
