It sucks that you actually gain weight after you quit dieting, instead of keeping it off :(

Most people who diet do gain it back. The rest of the people were lying. People see dieting as a temporary change, and go back to their bad habits once they stop dieting.

“Hope” tells you what you want ot hear. “Truth” tells you what is. No wonder hope has so many followers and truth has so few.

Diets are nothing but “quick fixes”, which is why they’re doomed to fail. A conscious effort to make a permanent “lifestyle change” has a much better chance of succeeding because it isn’t just weight loss for the here and now — it’s also weight loss/maintenance for the long term as well.

Worrying about your weight is fattening. Get out, get active, stop snacking all the time, and forget about dieting and your weight… then, like magic, you’ll lose weight!

That’s because Cathy isn’t really that fat — she just thinks she is — especially when she is trying on ridiculously tight fashions or ridiculously small bathing suits.
