She’s about to explode from the curiosity. But it is pretty rude of Irving to keep talking about her like she can’t hear him. If someone did that to me, it would be so uncomfortable and awkward, especially since we don’t know if his description was favorable or unfavorable.Good morning, Susan and Aaron! Hello to GsMom, Billy, Kfgrrl and all the other Cathy nuts that roll around here today!
Cathy is safe. Vivian didn’t run up and bite her ankle (or other things that are worse). In this case, Irving is a bit nuttier than even Cathy, with all he’s saying to Vivian like she’ll say “Yeah Irving, you told me all about her”.
Morning gobblinup. Missed you by about 20 minutes, but I got home late yet again. 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. is more like 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. lately.
Morning Susan. I left you a reply yesterday :-)
Afternoon Mom!. Hope all is well. Must be a busy mom these days. :-)
I frequently have long conversations with my dog, especially if I’m going to be late getting home (and she’s going to be late getting fed). I know she doesn’t understand, but it makes me feel better. Of course, she looks at me and wags her tail like she knows exactly what I’m talking about.
“Just like I described”. I wonder how many adjectives he used to describe Cathy. I’m betting nutjob wasn’t one. Yet.
Hi all. Geez G’s Mom, a woman possessed. My mom does the same, ‘cept dad does help. He’s the stamper and the envelope sealer. He figures that if his name is on the inside of the card, he should help.
As one of my bud’s caregivers, it’s nice to know you think about him Susan. Knowledge is power, attitude is everything, says Lance Armstrong. Giving A a good attitude is just right. Thank you. :-)
Warning: this is mostly unrelated to comics – my apologies!I am officially declaring today Wiped Out Wednesday. It started by being woken up 2 hours early and not being able to go back to sleep for various reasons. Then it was non-stop meetings (adult and child), not including the one that I forgot to take my daughter to at 7am (darnit), with errands and driving around in the pouring rain, while the tornado sirens went off twice. My head is spinning thinking about all the stuff that I need to get done in the next week. I need an assistant (or a wife like GsMom :-)) before I lose my mind and turn into Cathy (see I knew I could get a connection to the comics in there somethere!). Thanks for letting me vent…
I just read this… thanks for responding, Billy. Those are good words to live by and I appreciate you sharing them (and Aaron for putting them together). Usually, I do okay with getting through things, but every once in a while I need to vent and get out my frustrations, and then usually I’m fine after that. As usual, things seem better the next day so today I’m plugging along like I normally do and comics are the bright spot in my day. Although today I have another bright spot: watching my 6 year old in her class’ Thanksgiving play and then having lunch with her. Looking forward to it! I hope you have a wonderful day too, friend!
