Oh, she did not curl Electra’s eyelashes, did she? A clean dog is much cuter than a “done up” dog. Good morning, everyone! Hi to GsMom (check the comments yesterday… you don’t look a day over 22! :-)), Susan, Billy, KFG and all other Cathy nuts rolling around here today. Have a great Friday!
Ever since the readers foolishly voted to replace Cathy in my newspaper a few years ago, I have been one of the Cathy nuts rolling around on here. Reading Cathy is the highlight of my day, not just because of the cartoon, but because of the comments y’all leave! You guys make my day!
Electra looks TOO cute, almost not cute, kind of like Nermal from ‘Garfield’…….but Nermal is also annoying, Electra is not…LOL…….have a great day all ye Cathy nuts :) Hope Aaron is doing ok :)
I showed this to Little Muttley Beagle. He rolled his eyes.
Friend Aaron has decided (after a lot of deliberation) to have the eye surgery. This would be his second surgery—the first one didn’t work, hence him being reluctant. Better to try and possibly fail then not at all. Surgery is Monday. He might be home by Wednesday but that’s pretty optimistic.
KFG must have been floored by Aaron’s comments about the Mayo. He also says to make sure I do this:
Afternoon Susan having already arrived. We’re going back to the soup kitchen as well, soon. lightenup I couldn’t get today’s comics either when I checked in at 6:00 a.m. Home early today though because I work half days on Friday. Afternoon MOM! <—- Aaron says to do it just like that. :-D
Thanks to everyone for the kind birthday wishes yesterday. It wasn’t bad as far as birthdays go, but I’ve definitely had better! The steak I had for dinner wasn’t all the great but the chocolate cheesecake I had for dessert (not in the same place!) was to absolutely die for!!!!!
;-)
Good evening to all the Cathy fanatics here tonight. Good to “see” you all!
Dr. Billy: Please wish Aaron good luck from me on his surgery Monday. I’ll be thinking about him and hoping everything goes well.
lightenup: Thanks for the “all-expense paid trip to Fiji”! I’d give just about anything in the world to be there right now!!!!!
For my evening check-in (just like I check on my kids before I go to bed)…@ Susan – (hugs)@ nannygram – Welcome to the nuthouse! Remember, the more nuts we get, the faster we can make a fruitcake. LOL!!@ KFG – That’s exactly what I mean! @ Billy – Thanks for checking in with us every night and for passing along info from Aaron. :-) We all will be rooting for Aaron on Monday. Will they know immediately if it worked, or will it take a few days to know? Can they guess how much sight could return, or is it too soon? Lots more questions, but believe it or not, I try to keep it to a minimum. @ GsMom – I’m glad at least the chocolate part of your dinner was good. To me, that’s the most important part (and make it dark)! Glad you liked my gift. :-)

“Hard work pays off in the future, laziness pays off now.:” Electra is fine just the way she is. Why is Cathy such an overacheiver?

I almost forgot… here’s my joke for Aaron:
What did one eye say to the other eye?Just between the two of us, something smells!
