I don’t know how to handle this. Cathy is being kind and caring. She even stays to listen to the whole scoop on how Brian is. Most times someone says “How you doing?” and then move on because they really don’t want to know. No eye roll today, because I’m with Brian on being home alone. Ick. Hate it. Well, at least as long as I’m not contagious.

Good morning and happy Friday. lightenup. sigh I wish I had words of wisdom for you. I’ll leave those to KFG and Mom! I’d rather make you smile. Here, sit down beside me. Count down to an eye roll for nothing in particular except for old time sake with me. 3 … 2 … 1 EYE ROLL :-D

Morning Susan if you come by. Hello fellow Cathyites. Time to rest for a bit. Little Muttley Beagle is warming up the sofa for me and waiting patiently. Later . . .

No kidding!! He is probably treated better at the office. I take care of my kids when they’re sick, but my husband or I mostly take care of ourselves when we’re sick. I don’t take much cold medicine anyway, so I mostly just push through it. Besides, my husband likes these terrible tasting lozenges (ever heard of Fisherman’s Friend, anyone?), so he has his own stash.Good morning KFG (I left you an extra long message yesterday, so grab a cup of coffee first. ;-))!!Good morning, JanuAaronry and Susan!Hello to GsMom, gmforde, rgcviper, lindz.coop (you’re so sweet to respond yesterday :-)) and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today!! Enjoy your Friday!!

Before I forget again, favorite apple is the mcoun (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macoun_apple) Haven’t had one in years; they must be extinct or something. Granny Smith apple is a very close second.

Maybe Brian is in the office because of somebody’s twisted and cheap limits on sick time. Nice that Cathy is expressing concern, but it could be because she wants to see what she’ll be suffering when she catches it. The other coworkers don’t want it either and don’t want the extra work that Brian wouldn’t do if he was off sick. lol

You can stay at the office and infect everyone else if you promise to take care of US when we come down with your bug. Otherwise, GO HOME!

Cathy’s probably thinking . . . “How come no one at the office takes care of me when I’m sick like that?!?!?”

Good evening, Aaron, Dr. Billy, lightenup, KFG, Susan rgcviper, gmforde, lindz.coop and all the rest of the Cathy fanatics joining us here tonight. Hey . . . tomorrow’s Saturday!

lightenup: It’s all a real Catch-22, isn’t it? You can’t leave and let this big know-it-all butthead take over (letting him think he’s won) and then he ruins everything for everyone in the neighborhood . . . but you can’t stay (especially for 2 more years!) and be so stressed out over him and his nasty antics all the time either. I wish I could give you clear-cut advice but I don’t know or live the situation like you do so all I can do is just counsel you to do what in your heart feels best for you — and your family. Have you ever thought about moving? I’d hate like hell for someone like that to chase me out of my home but sometimes, “retreating” from overly stressful situations like this is the only way to keep your sanity intact and avoid having heart attacks and / or strokes! I’ll be praying for you and we’ll “talk” again soon!

Hi to all the Cathy nuts!! Yup, just stay at the office and let everyone take care of you — but be ready to return the favor when they catch whatever you are spreading around.

Special hi to Lightenup — there must be another way to fight this creep. I had a next door scumlord who left the pool gate open and when I called the authorities about it, they suggested that I go over and lock it for him. I said I never set foot on the property and proceeded to outline why, get the entire neighborhood (69 of us) to sign a petition, took it to city hall and they made him bring it up to code. The reason he had never had to do anything before was because his dad was on the city council, but it didn’t matter when that many people signed on. Start recruiting supports!!
