Woman: There was a full box of chocolate here this morning...And there are only six pieces left?? That's incredible! Cathy: Isn't it? I was alone with a box of chocolate for four hours, and I don't eat the whole thing! Woman: You ate SIX PIECES! Cathy: I know! I only had SIX! I didn't eat twelve! I ONLY ATE SIX!! The "glass is half empty" meets the "box is half full" philosophy of life.

I woulda ate 11. Mom taught me to be polite and not to take the last one. But I’m still working on the ’don’t be greedy’ lesson.

@ Silly Aaron, hi back. I have a friend with a unique talent. She can eat just one piece of chocolate candy per day. She can make a large box last two months. It has to be the good stuff for her to do this. Cheap stuff doesn’t cut it. Even the men in her life couldn’t believe that she could do this. Cathy is assuming that she’s being accused of eating up the candy. The box will be gone by the time she leaves for the day if not sooner. The office vultures will eat the rest. lol

Hey—I can relate to the idea of “only six out of twelve” being a victory. Right on, Cathy. Personally, I probably would’ve scarfed down way more than that …
For some reason, I’m not seeing some of today’s early comments—at least, since people replied to others who hadn’t posted yet. Odd.

I have to give Cathy props today (crazy, I know!).
If she only ate 6 pieces of chocolate in 4 hours, then she’s got pretty amazing willpower . . . because if that had been me . . . and that had been a 12-piece box of Queen Anne Chocolate-Covered Cherry Cordials . . . I’d have gone Godzilla on that thing and all 12 pieces would have been gone in probably less than 15 minutes! I’d have been sick later . . . but it would have SO been worth it!!!!!!!!!!
Just kidding, of course! Much as I love those things, I absolutely don’t make a pig out of myself where they’re concerned! I know how to pace myself and make them last as long as I possibly can . . . so I usually eat just one a day. Now THAT’S real willpower!!!!!!!!!!

Me and a dozen chocolates wouldn’t last too long, if it’s really good it’s gone…LOL….I have no willpower when it comes to chocolate……Happy Friday everyone :) Lightenup, Billy, Aaron, Gretch’s ma, Susan, Viperdude, lindzcoop, hendelca, and all ye Cathy nuts that come here for a laugh (or an eye roll).
