Cathy: Hi, mom! Happy mother's day! Did you schedule your annual mammogram yet? Mom: AACK! Surprise interrogation! Cathy: The risk of breast cancer goes up with age. A five minute screening can save your life. I don't want to hear any excuses! Mom: Clippings! Cathy: I'll check back with you next week. Also, are you walking 30 minutes a day? Mom: Nagging! Cathy: What about vitamins? Dark, leafy greens? Reducing cholesterol? Mom: The LOOK! Not the LOOK! You're supposed to use these skills on your own children, not turn them on your mother!! Cathy: I want my children to have their grandma as long as possible! Mom: Aack! Guilt! Now guilt! I overtrained her. Cathy: Let's talk fiber intake...
I agree, good for you, Cathy! I wish my mom took better care of herself, so we could have her around longer. But she’s stubborn and says no, so it’s a struggle. Anyway, we love her lots and I’m glad she’s still around! Happy Mother’s Day, Mom and all the other moms who come around here today!Good morning, everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful day! I’ve had breakfast in bed and have played a game with my girls. Later we’ll go see a movie and go out to dinner. And my husband gave me some nice dark chocolate and will send me on a massage another day. Love it!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
