mom: My daughter hasn't called, which means things are either fabulous or hideous. She only tells me the times in teh middle. The sort ofs... The maybes... The ho-hums... Come on, Baby! Let mama live a little! Share the heart-stopping thrills! THe plummets to the depths! I wan out of this safe middle zone! Cathy: Sorry, Mom. Too risky. Mom: It's hard to practice "extreme motherhood" with an over-protective daughter.
Over-protective daughter? How about a lunatic, refuses-to-cut-the-apron-strings overprotective mother?!? If “mama wants to live a little”, I’d suggest she get a life of her own rather than trying to live vicariously through her [nutty] daughter instead!
Hi, rgcviper!
lightenup: Hey, Sis! How’s Jr. doing today? Hope she’s feeling better!
Hello and Happy Friday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone’s having a really nice day today! It’s currently 59° here where I live and it looks as though that’s as high as it’s going to get, too. Thanks to all the drastic up-and-down temperatures we’ve been having here lately, it’s no wonder I woke up with a sore throat and a cold this morning. )-:
