Cathy: I'm going out to dinner at 8:00 but my body's used to eating at 6:00/. I eat a snack at 4:00 so I won't be hungry at 6:00. Another snack at 5:30 so I won't be hungry at 6:00. A meal at 6:00 because my body still expects a meal at 6:00. Go out to dinner at 8:00. Men make a reservation. Women make a 9000-calorie commitment.
That is awfully late to eat dinner if you had lunch at noon. Why not just make the dinner reservations for 6?
