Cathy: In my fantasy, my special person would lovingly stroll down every food aisle with me. Irving: My person would be in and out of the store in three minutes. Cathy: Mine would use shopping time to learn all about me. Irving: Mine would know me well enough to know I hate being in stores. Cathy: Mine wouldn't care where he was if we were together. Irving and Cathy: Hah! Irving: I'll stop inventing you if you stop inventing me. Cathy: My person wouldn't say that.
Cathy… go grocery shopping alone. Or make a list and send Irving alone. (maybe he can manage without the list, but some blokes do tend to return with a selection of gourmet cheese, two dozen tins of tomatoes and 4 dozen loo rolls because they were on special offer, but no veg , bread or milk)
