Mom: The "carb-free" Mother's Day menu. How special. No bread. No biscuts. No buns. No noodles. No potatoes. No cakes. No pies. No puddings. You've eliminated all the "Mom" food. Waitress: The "Mom" food? Mom: The comfy, happy, snuggly foods that people associate with Mother aren't on your Mother's Day menu! Waitress: We're supporting a low-carb... Mom: Support it on someone else's day! Today is about mother. As we honor Mother, let us put down our carb counters and honor Mother's tummy-hugging, soul-warming, spirit-lifting comfort food!! Cathy: Thanks, Mom! You're the best! Mom: That roll's going to go right to your thighs, dear.
NO: bread, biscuits, buns, noodles, potatoes, cakes, pies or pudding? NO THANKS!!! I’ll just take my business to a restaurant that actually believes in serving REAL food to its customers where, as the responsible adult that I am, I can moderate my own carb intake, thank you very much! :-p
Hi, rgcviper!
lindz.coop: Glad to hear you’re feeling better these days! :-)
Hello and Happy Sunday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone’s been having a really great weekend so far! :-)
