Mom: You let Irving see this? Cathy: We're planning our financial future together, Mom. Mom: You couldn't cover up a little?? He doesn't need to know all this is in there! Cathy: he's going to be my husband! Mom: Exactly! He's have an eyeful soon enough!! Leave something to the imagination! There! That's much better! Cathy: Some have a filing system. Mother has a corset. Mom: Save some surprises for after the wedding!
Thanks for yesterday’s note Mom — Yes, I am doing much better. I kinda freaked yesterday when I could finally open my mouth wide enough to see back there and discovered that my cheek had been stitched to the gum. Then just as I was ready to call the dentist (and possibly face more “procedures”) I noticed that it had broken free — thank God!! I do wonder if that was what was causing all the bleeding tho — because I was shoving the huge wad of gauze all the way back and it probably was pulling on the stitches. Anyway — I’m fine now and can finally bend over, chew, lift things and take a walk again.
