Cathy: I know you always fantasized about shopping for a wedding dress together, Mom, and I did, too. If we leave the store now, we can still have the fantasy! Neither of us has snapped yet. We haven't gotten on each other's nerves! For once, we could just stop and walk away before we drive each other crazy!! Mom: Bring on the next 300 gowns!! Cathy: Mom and her "can do" spirit... Saleswoman: Buckle up!
I have a confession to make, I’ve been quiet the last few days because Cathy is hard to take right now. I think I mentioned before that my mom died when I was very young so I will never get to experience these types of special life moments. I do have my aunt, who raised me and my sister, but it’s not the same.
