Maybe it’s good it didn’t “count” because it didn’t go so well? Although I have a strong feeling that this visit will be brought up in the future..Hello Cathy friends! I hope you’re having a calm Saturday, not caught up in too much bargain shopping, or at least doing it from the comfort of your home on the computer.

I want to know if they got to “share” Irving’s old bedroom while they were there?

I’m sure as far as Cathy’s concerned, this visit was 5 days too long for her . . . starting from the moment Irving’s mother opened the front door and the first words out of her smiling face weren’t “Welcome to our home, Cathy!” but were: “She came empty-handed!!” with a disapproving scowl instead. The only place it could possibly go from there was downhill — which is exactly what it did.

If I were Cathy, I’d be thinking: “AACK!!!!! Thank God these horrible people live so damn far away from us that it requires a plane ride in order to see them so maybe we can get away with visiting them (or them visiting us) just ONCE a year . . . IF we’re lucky!” :-P

lightenup: It’s hard to shop, either online or in-store, when you don’t have a clue what to buy someone. Yep! It just wouldn’t be Christmas around my house unless I had absolutely no idea whatsoever when it comes to my mother and husband. Unfor-tunately, that’s become a pretty pitiful “tradition” with me the last few years! :-(

Hello and Happy Saturday, fellow Cathy fans. Sure is quiet here tonight. I guess everyone’s either still recovering from Thursday’s Thanksgiving feast . . . or from yesterday’s Black Friday shopping spree! ;-)
