Of course there are choices! Cathy just won’t admit that she doesn’t need that cup of coffee.
And we all know that it’s cheaper to make your own drinks at home. But maybe it’s more fun to drink while you’re out doing things with others (it’s a social thing), or maybe you just need a quick jolt of caffeine and it wouldn’t be worth the time and effort to go home to brew some coffee. So, I don’t have a problem if people choose to spend $3-5 how they wish.
But it is funny how much cheaper gas is compared to coffee or even juice. I guess the difference is that we go through gas so much faster.
.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! I’m so happy we finally got rain today. We really needed it! Now we could use a month of it, and Gatlinburg could definitely use some. The forest fires in the south have been bad this year. Have a great day!
And here’s yet another reason why I’m so glad that I’m not a coffee drinker. Three+ dollars for one single cup? I’m saving an absolute fortune by not being hooked on something that tastes
so bitter that it would need an awful lot of “doctoring up” in order for it to be half-way drinkable for me! :-D
(Sorry to all the caffeine-dependent coffee drinkers around here.
I just don’t like it. Never have, never will.)
Hi, rgcviper! :-)
lightenup: Looks like you’re getting what we got yesterday. It rained off and on all day and by the time it was through, we had
a badly needed 1.25" in the gauge on our deck.
ptlover: You’re right. While I’m not a coffee drinker, my husband is. He likes to buy those big 1-pound cans of coffee at the grocery store and they’ll last him an entire month based on the way he drinks it: approximately 4 cups a day but only in the morning until around noon; then nothing more the rest of the day. (And no. He doesn’t buy the fancy $3.00+-a-cup stuff when he’s out either be-
cause he thinks it’s a ridiculous waste of money when you can just buy and make it at home.)
Hello and Happy Tuesday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone
I’ll admit that I’m a coffee drinker but I have a Keurig and usually make it at home. I do indulge in a $3-$4 treat occasionally but I can just as easily avoid it.

Hello Cathy friends! I’m glad you got your rain lightenup. GretchensMom trust me, it takes a lot of “doctoring” for me to like coffee – the $3-$4 coffee that I sometimes buy is sweet and flavored like hot caramel mocha or caramel macchiato. At home I drink french vanilla most often.

And that’s why Millennials will never have a sufficient retirement fund, they really don’t know how to budget and save.
