Hahaha! You were owned, Irving. So far, my kids aren’t better at electronics than my husband and I are (although I’m sure Lil will let me know if she thinks that statement is incorrect haha!). Granted it helps that my husband is an IT guy and knows all sorts of things about different technologies, and I was in tech support for a while. So, most likely my kids are better at more recent fads, like Snapchat and other apps, but I can probably fix a problem with the computer better than they can. Plus, I’ve set up a computer from parts and they haven’t (granted, it’s been a while, but it’s like riding a bicycle, right? ;-))

Hello Cathy clan! TGIF and Happy St. Patrick’s Day! No matter your heritage, may you all be blessed by a leprechaun today!

Hello, Happy Friday and Happy St. Patrick’s day, fellow Cathy friends! Just another quick “drive-by” before heading back to work.

Hi, rgcviper! I just now saw your comment from yesterday and it really made me smile. Glad to see someone else carrying on my favorite Cathy and Irving “whack-a-doodle” expression in my absence these days! ;-)

QuietStorm27: Happy 12th birthday to your daughter. Hope she has/had (depending on when you see this) a really great day today! :-)

Lil’ Lightenup: I know I’m a little late with this but welcome to “Cathy’s Corner,” sweet girl. Once my move is completely finished and I’m back here full-time, I look forward to getting to know you better! :-)

Update: Progress is going slow but steadily. We’ve been completely through the foyer, dining, kitchen, and living room(s) so far — cleaning out every single closet, shelf, cabinet and drawer we’ve come across, keeping only what we positively want/have to move and chucking everything else ….. either into the trash can, recycle bins, donation bags or setting aside for a massive yard sale once we’re close to moving.

Today: hubby is working in his office and I’ll be working in the linen closet and both bathrooms. If there’s time, I’ll start on my section of our bedroom closet, which will be a pretty tough one as I don’t really want to part with any of my clothes, shoes or purses. Even though the new house has dual master bedroom closets and I’ll no longer have to share that space with my husband, they’re extremely small (which is how the builder got two of them in there) so unfortunately for me, some really difficult decisions will have to be made where all my things are concerned ….. whether I want to or not. It’s a real bummer, all right! :-(

Have a great day (and weekend), everyone. I’ll stop by again as soon as I can to say “Hi!” and give you all another status report.

They really showed him, didn’t they?

Thank you Gretchen’s Mom! I hope to get to know you better too.

I think that I am about the same level as my mom but sometimes she uses her logic and I forget to. AND I don’t know exactly how Snapchat works (I get the gist) because I DONT HAVE A SNAPCHAT MOTHER!!

Have a good day Clan. (Sorry for my little rant at my mom)

Actually, Irving, that’s how I feel with/about technology a lot of the time.

HI, MOM. Sorry to hear of some of the struggles with your move. Best wishes, and I hope everything works out OK. Happy that my two mentions of “Whack-a-doodles” yesterday gave you a smile, too. Hey—with these two in the comic, the phrase comes naturally. Ha.

    Happy (late) Friday, Clan.
