Coffee of any kind from anywhere? Ick. Not to mention “AACK!!!” ;-)

Hi, rgcviper! :-)
lightenup: Glad you had a nice visit with your mother and a better-than-expected Thanksgiving with your sister. Meanwhile, I don’t know if I’ll still be here in 5 years when Lil graduates high school but if I am and you’re still looking to move somewhere with less drama, come to Eagle Trace subdivision half-way between Commerce and Banks Crossing. The people here are super-friendly and we can finally meet and hang out together like I’ve always wanted us to do! :-)

Hello and Happy Monday, fellow Cathy fans! Sorry I’ve been gone so long without much communication. The last 6 weeks or so leading up to my mother’s move was a really hectic one for my husband and me due to her unexpectedly selling her condo before we were really ready for that to happen. But we finally got everything done and then left for Indiana on October 30th, where we were gone for almost 3 weeks, trying to see as many people as possible and getting her packed up and ready to move. We returned to Georgia a few short days before Thanksgiving and I’ve been trying to play catch-up ever since! Mom didn’t have cable or internet so I couldn’t do anything there without a wi-fi signal and my phone’s data plan is extremely limited so I had to just let everything go computer-wise until we got back. But now that I am, I hope to post a little more often than I was when I’m either not helping my mother do something or hubby and I aren’t busy working on OUR part of the house now that the terrace level is complete and the move is finally over with after all this time. Next big project coming up: finishing my library/sewing/craft room over the garage, which is something I’m SUPER excited about! :-)
As I believe I’ve said here a time or two before …
Whatever pops your weasel, Cathy.
And for the record, I guess Cyber Monday wasn’t big back in ‘07, since it seems like we’d include those totals in the big shopping weekend. (Unless the days of the week don’t match up now and then, that is.)
HI, MOM, and welcome back! I was starting to wonder since we hadn’t “seen” you here for so long, but really happy you’re with us again. Your return made me smile.
The lines are rarely too bad at Starbucks and I do love their iced cinnamon-dulce-latte enough to stand in a reasonable line for it. Sometimes that IS my dessert.

I don’t like coffee. Because of me, the whole system will fail eventually.
