Cathy: Don't keep that letter in the computer, honey! We'll forget it's there an never see it again!! We have to print it out and file it! Irving: If it's stuffed in the file cabinet we'll forget it's there and never see it again, either. Cathy: At least in the file cabinet it will be in a nice, fresh folder with a label on it, not just lost in cyberspace! It will have some dignity! I used to organize our important documents. Now I try to give them a proper burial.
I’m just the opposite. Don’t give me a piece of paper that I have to go find in a file. I can open a file folder on my computer and there it is. If it’s not where it’s supposed to be, I can do a file find and, yup, it’s there. Plus I can quote it, forward it, edit it….
