Irving: My hair's wrong! My outfit's wrong! My face is wrong! This isn't who I am! I sort of look like who I used to think I was...but not who I am now! I want to be who I am NOW! Cathy: You've been obsessing about your hair and clothes for an hour. Our movie started ten minutes ago! Irving: AACK! I'm a chick!!
Peep peep peep, Irving! Summerdog has it right, he is acting just like Cathy. I guess he’s suddenly realized that he’s not who he thought he was and he’s freaking out, but this is nuttier than usual. I don’t really understand the “this isn’t who I am” thing. Aren’t we all who we are? We may think we are one thing, yet come across as another, but that’s normal. Too much nuttiness for a Monday morning.
