If you are sending such photos out at Christmas time, of course you want to put your best foot forward! Take a picture of them all on the couch, and include the messy living room, and passed out pets. Irving is free. Let him do it. Then, send them to all your friends. It will instantly make them feel much better

Yup, a reality picture instead of a posed one would make the recipient happier knowing that they are not alone.

As I suspected, really quiet here today. I suppose just for form I should go upstairs and offer to help with the cranberries and wassail but I already know what the answer would be – a resounding “Get out of my kitchen”. We discovered decades ago that no matter how big the room is, the kitchen is not big enough for both of us (and that has nothing to do with our physical size). Safer to stay here and catch up on the comics for this Christmas eve afternoon.

Just wished Mother nature would make up her mind. Yesterday the kids next door were skating on the lake, today they could probably swim as it has been raining all day. Ah well, 10-25 cm of snow predicted for tomorrow so I guess I can wait.

Happy Christmas Eve to everyone today.

Hey—if families are coexisting peacefully (and hopefully happily), I can’t complain …

I don’t criticize the Christmas cards I get…it’s just fun to see what folks have been up to for the year…albeit not much this year. Merry Christmas to all my Cathy friends.
