Irving: You're going shopping?? Dad: Again?? Irving: You're going back into stores you were just in?? Dad: You're going "for fun"?? Are you kidding?? Irving and Dad: WHAT COULD YOU POSSIBLE HOPE TO FIND AT THE MALL?! Cathy and Mom: We want to be some place where no one asks those kinds of questions.
I haven’t been to a store (or mall) on the day after Christmas in years because those places are absolute madhouses! Why do people DO that, anyhow?!? Pretty much any store in the world that you can think of has an at-least 30-day return policy (Walmart’s is 90!) so why the rush to do it the day after Christmas? That’s just insane if you ask me! If I need to return or exchange something someone gave me, I’ll wait at least a week before I do it so that I don’t get caught up in all that frustrating craziness when I’ve got so many other, more important, things I can be doing with my time that don’t involve standing in long store lines all day! :-/
