Clinically proven to minimize the appearance of what might indicate the possible beginning of... Cathy: "Reduces visible signs of aging in six weeks or your money back!" "Reduces fine lines around the lips in ten days or your money back!" "Restores elasticity and evens tone in one week or your money back!" Which one was supposed to restore elasticity? Which was supposed to fix the lip lines? Which day did I start each thing and which visible results were supposed to happen when? What exactly did my face look like 49 days ago? And even if I could recall all that...where's my original packaging? Where are my receipts? Where do I mail my claims? Cosmetics' only real guarantee: The greater the need, the less likely the user will remember the offer long enough to collect on it. JUST SEND A BIG BAG OF MONEY AND I'LL HOLD IT OVER MY FACE!!

OK. This “face” thing has gone on long enough. I hope this is the last of it. I hope you agree with me.

Silly girl. Look into the AVON products. Less cost, great results with plenty of reviews of each product on the web site. You can even purchase some of them in “trial” size.

At this point, it really doesn’t matter. It’s been 7 weeks since you bought all this hideously expensive junk that’s no better than anything Walmart, CVS or Walgreen’s sells so there’s no getting your money back on ANY of it now. I’d say “Live and learn, Cathy, so that you don’t make that same mistake again in the future” but you just never, EVER do. You’re like the walking, talking definition of insanity: you do the same dumb things over and over again, hoping for different results, but — surprise! surprise! — they always turn out exactly the same anyhow ….. and you end up all the poorer money-wise for it too. Do yourself a favor: stay home with your husband and dogs and OUT of the fancy, expensive mall department stores buying stuff you don’t need. Your bank account will love and thank you for it!

Hi, rgcviper! :-)

Hello and Happy Sunday, fellow Cathy fans. Sure is quiet around here this morning. Hope you’ve all been having a really nice weekend so far. Stay safe and well, everyone! ♥

Yup—my mind would explode, too, if I had to keep track of all of that facial stuff. I’m with Cathy on this one.
HI, MOM. Happy Sunday, Clan.

I think holding a big bag of money over your face would have the exact same results as putting on all that stuff. I will admit my wife uses a lot of Avon and other brand name products on her face (including some I see advertised on TV). Maybe she can see the difference it makes but I certainly cannot. Full disclosure – I do put an aloe based cream on my face at night as my skin does tend to be rather dry. It does help prevent my face from breaking out (I thought that problem disappeared with your teen years but maybe thinking you are young allows the problem to continue into your senior years). I was rather disappointed a couple of months ago where the inexpensive almost no-name brand I have been using for years disappeared from the shelves and, according to the druggist, cannot be found anywhere. My wife came to the rescue with an Avon product that seems to work as well.
It is a beautiful warm Sunday here. I hope it is just as beautiful where you are.

56 degrees here in Michigan today…the birds are coming back, I got my last covid shot and spent yesterday feeling a little icky, but much better today and I have no real need for any skin rejuvenating products to make me feel better.
I do like your idea for aloe on the face, hendelca and I may try that. My husband just discovered it heals his cracking hands (the guy who always (always) forgets to wear gloves).
