    No, “twat” is perfectly good English English… it’s the other one of those two swear words we have that Americans don’t. The other word is “wank”. A “twat” is an alternative word for “c**t” and like “C**t” cn also denote an unworthy or stuoid person. Althoufgh surely Mona would be talking in French to her brother and would use a French equivalent like “branleur” or, more harshly, “un sale con” to describe him? ("un sale con = " a dirty twat" almost literally…)
