I also have a very vague memory that there is a slang expression in French, “avoir les chiottes”, which describes what might be described as an “emulsion” of solid and liquid particles in suspension, propelled by an awful lot of gas, which usually heralds something of more substance that will very shortly be arriving. Now this was French slang in the 1980’s; Googling on the term suggests it still has some currency, but describes a very strong and all-encompasing need to get to the nearest toilet, quickly. ….
