morning people and pets.happy, happy, happy?my brother-in-law got here at 1:30 this morning. his original flight was canceled sooo…now i’m awake. add i am so anxious that i cant sleep. and i cant start om my own becouse it wouldn’t be fare to him. crud.i could use a breakfast sandwich about now. i wonder what an egg, cheese and pastrami on rye would taste like…
Sorry I just missed you last night. I agree. IE8 seems to be the problem. At this point, I’m so pleased with Bing, photobucket is becoming a distant memory! As long as I can still access my personal photo album, I’m not going to do anything, and just wait til they rectify the problem. Catch ya later!
well, every good story needs an antagonist of some sort to be at odds with the protagonist. In this case, the protagonist of the story would be the first person “I” who is about to enjoy the greatest sandwich he ever remembers having. The antagonist can be something that interferes with his enjoyment of the sandwich…….doesn’t even have to be a person— it could be:I was about to bite into the sandwich , when dark clouds and thunder came up suddenly. The wind picked up and whipped the trees back and forth . The temperature dropped noticeably and it became very dark , very suddenly. The furious sound of hail batted a machine gun rat a tat on the canvas awning over the sidewalk in front of the deli. All thoughts of my sandwich were forgotten when……..oh, sorry! I got a little carried away.please. somebody carry me away
The best pastrami sandwich I have had is at Nell Thorn’s in La Conner, WA. They make their pastrami in house.Good morning to the sandwich craving Citizens of Dog.
“Your picture doesn’t show.*………………………………………………………………………………..Hmmmmm…….it did when I posted it! This is perplexing! I guess the photobucket problem is still a mystery, and now, I’m beginning to have some concern about Bing, as well. Thanks for the alert!
Nighthawks, was your car floating down the street? Is that what took you away from your sandwich? Some of the storms in the Midwest will do that..Noicant, you can put cheese and a fried egg on just about any sandwich and come up with a good meal. Good luck today with all your packing..StelBel, technical difficulties make a person want to go crazy. The computer universe is a very mysterious thing. Oh and I about fell on the floor very late last night when I saw that dog contemplating in the chair. That is a great picture.
Good to know that whether you’re on the east coast or west coast, there’s a good pastrami on rye to be had! Is the rest of the country covered as well?
Any of their sandwiches are good, particularly those with pastrami and/or corned beef. You may like the Reuben, which is a corned beef sandwich with sauerkraut & Russian dressing. Very good. As I mentioned, you can also do a combo, which I often do at home with corned beef and pastrami.
From what I can see, there are several locations within the DFW area. 3 in the Fort Worth area.
You can check out a menu for the location(s) you may want to go to here:http://www.jasonsdeli.com/restaurants
Fellow Baby and mightaswellbe, Unless there are tree nuts involved, I will probably at least try whatever food you make! I love food! And before you think I’m a BIG girl, I weigh about 135, 5 feet 4 1/2 inches tall! LOL!
finish the truck tomarow morning. then we stare the long haul. i hurt. i will be glad when this is done and i can unpack in leisure…i hope to say good morning tomarow, but then i’m unplugging the cable and will be at the mercy of wifi until we can get hooked up in the new home!“happy, happy! joy, joy!” indeed. : D
Hey there kids..Noicant have a fun and safe trip with your mom and your new best friend ibuprofen..Dry I think you’re right about that. :-).StelBel thank you for that wonderful picture to end the day with..Pleasant dreams to all the kids in CD land.

Now I want a pastrami sandwich for breakfast – and not with that regular yellow mustard. Spicy brown or stone ground sounds good.
Good Morning, cleo sugar, Fellow Baby and the rest of the drooling CD gang!

I tried your instructions, to the letter. Once I leave Bing my paste option turns off on my toolbar, if you understand what I’m saying.

I have always loved fried egg sandwiches. You see them on the east coast and Midwest but not so much here on the west coast.
