Now I want a pastrami sandwich for breakfast – and not with that regular yellow mustard. Spicy brown or stone ground sounds good.

well, every good story needs an antagonist of some sort to be at odds with the protagonist. In this case, the protagonist of the story would be the first person “I” who is about to enjoy the greatest sandwich he ever remembers having.The antagonist can be something that interferes with his enjoyment of the sandwich…….doesn’t even have to be a person— it could be:I was about to bite into the sandwich , when dark clouds and thunder came up suddenly. The wind picked up and whipped the trees back and forth . The temperature dropped noticeably and it became very dark , very suddenly. The furious sound of hail batted a machine gun rat a tat on the canvas awning over the sidewalk in front of the deli. All thoughts of my sandwich were forgotten when……..oh, sorry! I got a little carried away.please. somebody carry me away

The best pastrami sandwich I have had is at Nell Thorn’s in La Conner, WA. They make their pastrami in house.Good morning to the sandwich craving Citizens of Dog.

Nighthawks, was your car floating down the street? Is that what took you away from your sandwich? Some of the storms in the Midwest will do that..Noicant, you can put cheese and a fried egg on just about any sandwich and come up with a good meal. Good luck today with all your packing..StelBel, technical difficulties make a person want to go crazy. The computer universe is a very mysterious thing. Oh and I about fell on the floor very late last night when I saw that dog contemplating in the chair. That is a great picture.

Good to know that whether you’re on the east coast or west coast, there’s a good pastrami on rye to be had! Is the rest of the country covered as well?

Go to a Jason’s Deli.

I have always loved fried egg sandwiches. You see them on the east coast and Midwest but not so much here on the west coast.

Any of their sandwiches are good, particularly those with pastrami and/or corned beef. You may like the Reuben, which is a corned beef sandwich with sauerkraut & Russian dressing. Very good. As I mentioned, you can also do a combo, which I often do at home with corned beef and pastrami.

From what I can see, there are several locations within the DFW area. 3 in the Fort Worth area.

cleo being the cook you are, YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN FRIED EGG SANDWICHES, STAND OUT FRONT WITH A LITTLE HOT DOG TYPE CART, AND MAKE A FORTUNE!

Fellow Baby and mightaswellbe, Unless there are tree nuts involved, I will probably at least try whatever food you make! I love food! And before you think I’m a BIG girl, I weigh about 135, 5 feet 4 1/2 inches tall! LOL!
