I don’t get it. The colors are off or something. Red has two possible moves and takes neither, instead a checker changes color and an illegal move is made taking a white piece. In the third panel white has three checkers with moves, but no jumps. Then the dog moves by jumping a red checker that just appears on a previously empty square and seems to make moves on illegal squares, orthogonal instead of diagonal. Or?
