Jack: Mom, my shoes are too small. Deanna: No way. We just bought those shoes last spring! You haven't even used them that much over the summer. Jack: But Mom, they're really too small. They're squeezing my toes. Deanna: Jack, you're the one who insisted we get you the fancy, expensive soccer shoes. We're just going to have to make them work until we get our money's worth out of them. Abby: Wow, that's different. Open-toed soccer shoes.
As a parent of a 12-year-old soccer-playing boy, I can tell you that, after a month, the U. S. Postal Service, and any other delivery service would consider his soccer shoes a hazardous material. Ebay is out. Actually, donation is an interesting avenue. I think I’ll research that for a future strip.
