cdward echoes a recommendation I heard just hours ago in a newscast segment about the secret life of children texting: Gather all the phones and charge them in one place overnight.
As for reading at night, the issue is what are they reading? If it’s the right stuff, it’s worth a little lost sleep. Besides, lack of sleep becomes self-correcting at some point.
