Not my experience coaching the little ones. It was the adults who worried about scores. If you told them there was no such thing as a score, they’d still be out there running around.
When I coached my daughter’s U-6 Micro Soccer team. Team: Did we win? Me: We don’t keep score. Team: But did we win!? Me: We might have scored more than the other team, I didn’t count. Parents: It was 23-6 you killed them!!! Me: Eye Roll.
