Bud is the kind of parent that can make kids HATE doing organized sports. I feel sorry for his kid(s). I hope they figure out a way to shut him down before he does serious psychological damage to his and other kids. I think in real life, stupid parents like that can be barred from coming to the games. Is that correct? (Never had a kid in organized sports, so only know from what I have heard from others)
I coached AYSO for years and there is always a Bud in the crowd. One in particular! Screamed and hollered about wanting his kid to play forward so he could score. His kid, on the other hand, wanted to be a goalie. He loved it and was great at it so that’s where he played most of the time. If the guy wasn’t yelling at me, he was yelling at his kid or the ref. The association told him to knock it off so he had to be content with just glaring at me.
