I do not believe Mr Nordling will ever get back home. I do believe it now requires a passport to get back in the US.
Hell, going to Canada in 1998 didn’t require a passport, wife and I took a trip to visit “The Old Mill” near Blyth ON. Canada. We both bought sheepskin coats sheepskin lined boots. And yet now it does. Semis going from Buffalo NY-beer-to MI used to take a shortcut thru Canada. Wonder if any still do
