Coach Nordling: Boys, we play in the Morton Woozer Memorial Soccer Tournament this weekend. We've improved a lot these past couple of seasons, and this tournament doesn't usually draw the top teams. I think we have a shot at not losing too badly. George: Let me do the pep talk before the first match, okay, Knute?

No offense but I bet the team has a better record when Chester is not coaching the club and the assistant is taking charge.

Why can’t George be the head coach instead of Chester? He stopped their losing streak when Chester was out sick and he even convinced Bailey to be brave, via a fake pep talk story.

At that age, winning shouldn’t be that important, then we get to the pros, then it’s $$$$$

Maybe George should give Chester some coaching lessons.

I once heard an interview with Daley Thompson (Decathlon, double Olympic Gold). When he was asked “is winning everything”, he answered “no, it´s the ONLY thing” – that´s what make champions.

Meh, that speech would have worked for me when I was a kid. It’s been a long time since I cared about any professional sports team.
